In Sudan, more than 60 percent of the population is either involved in agriculture or has their own farm weather it be private or used for profit. This is nearly 50 percent more than America's measly 10.5 percent. Why are such a large amount of Sudans people involved in agriculture? Many of the reason includes that they have to in order to survive. Because many of the farms are small and privately owned , this causes the prices of things like wheat and other veggies to be through the roof. This forces the people of Sudan to create their own way of getting the food that they need for their families to survive.
