Women Can Farm Too

In The early 1900's a woman by the name of Mary Strang broke barriers in the way of women in agriculture. Mary and her husband Bart Strang were some of the first ever husband and wife farmers in the United States. By 1911 they were running a fully woman owned and operated cattle business. at the Time this was very unheard of. The cattle industry was considered "too dangerous and nasty for a woman," but Mary and Bart set out to prove them wrong.
